The Red Cross Club hold their drives each year. In the Fall there is the Chest Drive. Money is collected from each registry and given to the Red Cross Chapter in San Francisco. In the Spring there is the Enrollment Drive. Money is collected from the students and it is added to the fund for disaster victims. The Red Cross Club has made it a habit to thank the students of Balboa with a "Thank-You" Assembly. At this assembly the Red Cross provides outside entertainment. Last year they had the Foothills Choir sing. The Red Cross Club is a worthy one to belong to. It has added to Balboa's fine reputation as a school that cares what is going on in the world. |
