SPLISH SPLASH was this year's motto as the Swimming Team started their season this year. Mr. Mitchel said that the turn out this year was good.
 


As the season got under way the team had three divers, Bill Snyer, Ray Defanti, and Steve Cann (120's). Steve was the 120's power house
and came through with a first place at every meet except for one.


In the 130's division there were four Bucs who formed a Medley Relay and went through the season undefeated. They were Carl Asaro, Bill Nordesi, Bob Anderson, and Lance Elberling. Some of the Buc's
who went undefeated were Carl Asaro, who swam the 50 back stroke, and Bill Nordesi, who swam the 100 breast stroke, in the relay.
In the Varsity division, quite a lot of skill was shown. These boys were Frank Occhipinti, Ed Schaffer, Tom Guaraldi, and Dan Traventini. The Varsity did well this year.
All City results. Varsity Medley Relay, consists of Frank Occhipinti, Tom Guaraldi, Ed Schaffer, Dan Traventini. also took honors in 100 breast stroke.

130's Medley Relay results were, Carl Asaro, Lance Elberling, Bob Anderson, and Bill Nordesti. Bill Smyers, and Ray Defanti also received honors in diving. Carl Asaro took honors in the 50 back stroke and Lance Elberling in the 50 butterfly stroke.

The only 120 who placed in All City was  Steve Cann, who brought home honors for the 120's in diving.
