| A well known club of Balboa is that of the Girls Block B. It has gained much publicity through the years for its traditional initiation of new members. The requirements for membership include four semesters of GAA participate in after school sports and maintenance of a C S Average. The Girls Block B has an award banquet at the end of each Semester, in which the outstanding girls of any particular sport are honored. The Girls Athletic Association is also an important part of this banquet. The officers for the Fall '66 Term were: President Barbara Mataci, Vice President Ester Kutnick, Secretary and Treasurer Roxann Frey, and Publicity Manager Vicki Hierro. |
