February 1965 brought a new class of soph-
omores to Balboa. January, 1968 brings a fare-
well to 178 high seniors.

The Brst activity the class of '68 was the
"Hello Day Dance". The class participated in
all activities possible; spirit day, S.A. Carnival,
basketball games and baseball games were the
activities as L-lOs.

As H-10's they competed for class officers;

Pres. Steve DeMastri, Vice Pres.—Lorriane
Chiantelli, Secretary—Joyce Castellano; Trea-
surer—Beatrice Escandor. Once again they
participated in Spirit Day by having a Crazy hat
contest. They also put full support in Bal by
going to all the football games and dances.

In the L-ll the time came again to elect new
officers. They were President—Louie Montoya;

Vice Pres.—Linda Rodrigues, Secretary—
Beatrice Escandor and Treasurer—Maria Alcaraz. The L-ll and H-ll class officers planned
a very rewarding junior year for the class of '68.
By now they had participated in car washes,
cake sales, dances, selling "Bal Junior" pins, and
attending the Jr. Prom at the St. Francis Hotel
and the Jr. Exclusive in Bal's Lobby. The H-ll
Class officers were Pres.—Lorriane Chiantelli,
Vice President—Joyce Castellano, Secretary—
Maria Alcaraz and Treasurer—Sylvia Reed.

Again new class officers were elected for the

Low Senior year. They were President—Kenny
Green, Vice President—Sue Pinkerton Secretary—Shirley Labrador and Treasurer—Laurie
Richards . It was during this semester that the
class worked on and participated in the Aloha
Day Dance, Sr. Breakfast, Sr. Review and other
Class activities. The class again worked as a
whole to make their 2 1/2 year stay at Bal very
rewarding.

The last time the Class of Fall '67 elected
Class officers was for their "High & Mighty"
Senior year. They were President Kenny Green;

Vice President—Enna Buenrostro, Secretary—
Jackie Christmas, Treasurer— Phyllis Harris,
Girls Rep.—Kathy Taylor and Boy's Rep,—
Gary Gee. They worked hard to make their
High Senior year memorable. They worked as a
team to make their "Sr. Picnic", Sr. Ball, Car
wash, Cake sales, and football games the most
memorable ever. They will always remember
the' T.O.C. Championship as L-12's and the
great victory of the "Round Robin Title" with
the football team's 12-0 undefeated record. Also
the great but close game against Lincoln and the
comeback of the "Jolly Roger Flag."

When we left Bal we will have taken with us
many happy memories and hoped that we left a
good image of our class at Balboa—First On
The Pacific!
