| SA Prez— Mr. Balboa Spr 70 This term's S.A. President, Frank Alcarez was elected by his class as Mr. Balboa. Frank plans to go to San Jose State to further his education. He feels "life is beautiful if you take your time about it" — and Move- up will be a memorable part of it. "I Frank Alcaraz, being of loose mind and slim body, do hereby will my baseball shoes and soccer shoes and glove to Miss Lupe Orozco, may they be useful in her lifetime. I leave my office of S.A. President to the "best man." Best wishes, Mr. Balboa.. The man with the most in every category is Oliver Horton, voted as having the Best Personality. Oliver, who is also one of B a 1' s outstanding athletes. He plans to attend either City or State; wherever he can attain his goal — "success! !!" His most memorable experience was Move-Up and he feels he'll act "like a fool" at his own where he'll be in cap and gown. "I, Oliver Horton, Jr., being of sound mind and excellentbody, do here- by will the best of luck to Roberto Jordan during double session (football sea- son). ToAlvin Cook all the ___ pies left to keep that gloss in his eyes. To all the rest of the Bal students taking Biology: all my "A" papers in order to pass the class. " Good luck, Mr. Personality. A bubbly atmosphere creator and unpredictable attitude is only a vague, but close enough, discription of Brenda Welch, gal with the Best Personality. Brendadoes not plan to go to college and her goal in life is "to be a good Christian. " The funniest thing that ever happened while she was at Bal was "When Jackie Johnson ran into the wall in P.E." Jaekie, you didn't?! All in all die enjoyed just about every moment at Bal. Brenda leaves her spirit to all. "I, Brenda Welch, being of sound mind and sound body, do hereby will my long boots to Bennie Franklin, my mind to Vaughn Rhodes with his big legs and all my love to the out-going seniors ."Thank you, Brenda, and good luck. These Eyes The senior gal elected as having the Best Eyes was Rosa Rivera. Her future plans include going to CCSF and with her philosophy-- "live each day freely and happily with love all around, " things look bright. 'I Rosa Rivera, being of open mind and happy body, do hereby will my swimming cap that kept my hair s o dry and my bathing suit that kept my body all covered to anyone who en- joys cringing to the wall of a cold pool filled with chlorine water and lots of tiny air bubbles. " Good luck, Rosa. Laura Federighi along with Gaky Fitzer have been chosen as the Seniors "Most Likely to Succeed. " Laura's future plans include going tO S. F. Slate and "to be independent. " Elected as the fellow most likely to melt an ice berg with his smile was Mark Winters. There's something about his face. Mark's goal in life is to have thirteen (13) kids- gad luck, guy ! He takes with him from Bal many things that will never be returned, we won't tell so he can keep them. Mark does not plan to go to college; he lists his most difficult subject at Bal as "reg" so we do not blame him. Best of luck and thank you for your face. Mark. The dimpled face of Pat Gurnsey could never have missed winning the title of Best Smile. Her most enjoy- able moment at Bal was Move-up and it will long be remembered. Pat would like to be an airline steward- ess since she likes people; they can't he Ip but like her. Her goal is "to succeed in life" and with the souveneir (diploma) she takes from Bal she is well on her way. When asked to describe Bal in one word, Pat wrote "obstreperously" -- look that upJ With little competition Mark Winters was awarded the title of Senior with the Best Eyes --just gaze at him , and you'll know why. Mark recalls his most enjoyable experiences at Bal were the Move-up and Grad Par- ties. His funniest experience took pbce when he and some friends "threw Siandonay in a mud puddle !" Remember that, Butch? "I Mark Winters, being of semi-sound mind and perfect body, do here- by will my gym clothes to Arch & George, my We s Montgomery album to Moose. My car to A-Action Auto Dismantlers, my body to Jennie, my old parts to J.S.F." S.A. VEEP ... MISS BALBOA Cheyenne Elaine Bell, this term V.P. was voted as Miss Balboa by the greatest margin of the poll. Cheyenne, better known as Ann, plans to become a social worker and will at- tend either U.S.F. or U.C.B. She takes with her from Bal "a whole lot of memories" especially Move-up. "I Cheyenne Bell, being of sound mind and healthy body, do hereby will my good grades and leadership to my brother Phillip Bell; my sex maga- zines to the twins K athaleen and Kathareen, my frown to Greg Smith, my cigarettes to Mr. Kafkas and my heart to Mr. Burgoa." |
