SPIRIT '67
The beginning of the Fall '67 term
marked a new set of song girls. Three of
them coming from the Spring '67 set are
Norma Patrick, Barbara Martin, and head
song girl, Betsy Escandor. The three new
song girls are Jan Barnett, Ronnee Rice,
and Chris Vozikes. These dedicated six
practice at least once a week, and always
have exciting new routines, to present to
the student-body at rallies and games.
Beside these six, Bal also has two "mini
song girls". Crystal is the sister of Barbara
Martin, and Nancy is the sister of Norma
Patrick. With the help of the "mini song
girls" the song girls have little trouble
boosting school spirit.
Now we come to the true spirit arousers
of Fall '67, the Yell Leaders. They are:
Bob Rigamonti (head). Pat Spignola, and
Ray Mullane. These three spend many
long hours practicing yells. They are re-
sponsible for the idea of our thirty by forty
foot "Jolly Roger" flag that inspired the
fans at half time during the Turkey Day
Game. The Yell leaders are proud of the
fact they are first yell leading trio in 10
years, to have the privilege of boosting the
morale for the Championship Football
Team on to an undefeated season. |
