If you had produced the first movie cartoon with sound, the
first full-length cartoon, and pioneered stereophonic sound, what would you do next?

Walt Disney, and the company he and his brother Roy founded in 1923, asked them selves that same question. Their answer: Disneyiand! A new concept when it opened in 1955: "a Family park  where parents and children can have fun together."

In the mid-60's. Walt began to look for new ways
to use experience gained at the California Disneyland. He put it "all together" in Florida. Walt Disney  World is the largest recreation development ever undertaken by a single company, Its 2,500-acre Vacation Kingdom not only includes a theme park, the Magic Kingdom, similar to Disneyland; there's also a resort and recreation area with hotels . . . golf
courses ... a shopping village . . . and 800 campsites!
