1. CABLE CARS—Sight-seers ride the Overhead Cable Railway up Congo Avenue to the giant Atomium that forms the theme of the Fair.

2. BELGIUM SQUARE—Tired tourists rest in front of the Reception Hall and watch the fountains play above the flowers.

3. "GAY BELGIUM"—Twelve acres are devoted to a reconstruction of the Belgium of 1900. Old buildings, quaint costumes recreate the spirit of the Gay Nineties.

4. EXPO-TRAINS—Visitors tour the fair in jet-styled trains. The entrance hall and lower spheres of the Atomium contain an exhibition of the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

5. U. S. PAVILION—The circular exhibition building of the United States has a light and modern aspect with reflection pools and airy rampways. Continuous movies show many kinds of life in the U.S.A.

6. RUSSIAN PAVILION—The palace of the U.S.S.R. is filled with engineering marvels and technical achievements including the famous Sputnik satellite models.

 7. ELECTRON RACE—At night, the Atomium, which represents the atomic structure of a crystal of iron magnified 150 billion times, is illuminated by points of light that simulate rotating electrons.
